Homemiora was founded on a simple principle: furniture should not simply occupy space — it should cultivate calm, tactile connection, and enduring quiet luxury.
Established in New York in 2018, Homemiora emerged from an architectural design studio frustrated by the disposable cycle of modern consumer furnishings. We watched mass-manufactured veneer pieces deteriorate within months, ending up in landfills while homes lost their warmth.
We set out to create an uncompromising alternative: heirloom pieces sculpted from single-origin certified American hardwoods, hand-finished with non-toxic botanical waxes, and proportioned with the restraint of classical Scandinavian and Japanese architecture.
"A home is not an art gallery to be stared at; it is a living vessel that should feel more personal, tactile, and grounded with every passing decade."
